The Creative Process

At MaakMijnSong we believe in clarity, warmth, and a touch of humor. No fine print or complicated agreements, just honesty — this is how we work.

1. You tell us, we listen

Tell us who the song is for and what you want to express. You can do this through a short message in the order form. After payment and uploading any photos, we start creating your song. We turn your story into rhyme, and then add the music in the genre you’ve chosen.

2. You’ll receive a private link by email

Once your song is ready, you’ll receive a private YouTube link by email. Only you (and anyone you share the link with) can view it. This gives you time to listen calmly and request any small changes if needed.

3. We finish it together

When everything feels right, we finalize the song. The widescreen files can be sent by post on a USB stick, but if you prefer a download link, we can do that too.

4. Public sample version

The private link stays online until you’re completely satisfied. After that, we post a public sample version with the phrase "This is a song sample" woven into the music. Your original version remains private, but others can still hear what we do.

5. Personal contact via YouTube

We keep communication simple, through the comments under your private YouTube link. Only you and we can see these conversations.

Disclaimer

We reserve the right to show created video songs as examples. Don’t want your photos to appear publicly? No problem — we’ll use fictional AI-generated images instead. If it’s a farewell song, we completely understand you might prefer to keep it private, and we will always respect that.
